NevadaCSI was originally established in Henderson, Nevada in 2007 (under the original name Friends of Henderson CSI) to promote the use of forensic science to increase community safety. NevadaCSI is an all-volunteer organization and is not operated by, does not represent, nor speaks for any government agency.

The primary goal of the organization is to raise private funds to build, equip and support a publicly operated Forensic Science Center in southern Nevada.

NevadaCSI welcomes the opportunity to assist the media with stories that help to advance the goals of this project which will help keep our communities in the Las Vegas valley and southern Nevada safe.

We seek always to be responsive to the needs of the media and accurate in our communications.

Members of the media will be welcomed to events in the future such as press conferences, fundraisers, and other publicity events. While NevadaCSI does not have a separate and distinct media relations office, the board members and future volunteers of the NevadaCSI will work with the media in every way possible.

For questions and interview requests, please send an email to NevadaCSI or call us. Refer to the NevadaCSI information in the "Contact Us" area of the footer below.

Because NevadaCSI is a private organization, please do not photograph, record, or publish interviews of volunteers without their permission. This policy helps NevadaCSI conduct our fundraising program in an orderly and effective manner and protects the rights and needs our volunteers, associates, and donors.

Thank you,

Rick Workman
Chairman, NevadaCSI
